The Arizona Water and Power Commission says it will allow bottled water and bottled water products to be sold at convenience stores starting April 1.
The move comes amid a crackdown by the Arizona Supreme Court that prompted a boycott by some stores.
The commission said it is allowing sales of bottled water to take place at about 30 convenience stores, but said customers will have to return the products to a tap to be refunded.
The commission did not provide details about how many stores will sell bottled water.
It said the ban will apply to water products purchased in stores with no outlet or that have been stored in a cooler than 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
