NFL’s Kleen water filter will cost $4,500

KELLEY, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys announced on Monday that they have replaced the popular Kleen Water Filter on their players’ helmets.

The new Kleen filter will be the same size and shape as the one that was used on the helmets of the Dallas Cowboys players during the 2016 season.

The new filter, made by the company Schlick and Co., replaces the original Kleen that was the subject of a 2016 investigation into its performance and safety.

The Kleen is designed to reduce airborne bacteria, but its function is not known.

The team’s spokesman said the team was notified by the American Lung Association of the replacement.

The replacement will be made of plastic and be available for purchase from Schlick.
